Grundtvig Learnining Partners, Meeting in Paris

The Grundtvig Learning Partners in the Project „Mentor Development Programmes: Transforming learners into educators supported by e-communication tools” came together for their 3rd meeting in Paris from Feb 11-13.



The core program on Feb 12 was attended by 21 representatives of the Learning Partners and 4 speakers of related French organisations. The schedule included:
- the results of a survey among the partners on the definition of key terms such as "learner", "mentor", "educator"; concepts of learner-mentor-educator relations, as well as e-tools employed by the partner organisations
- sharing expertise and discussing e-tools to facilitate mentoring, learners´ participation and transparent in-house communication
- a presentation by the French organisation ARPEJEH on how to build an accessible website for visually impaired people and how to implement national and EU standards of web accessibility (like EURACERT)
- a presentation of web 2.O. tools used by Alcatel Lucent to improve knowledge transfer, foster communication and transparency in a global enterprise with 70.000 employees.

The next meeting takes place in Warsaw in May 2010 and is hosted by ONE.PL.
